How is Perks4Care different?

Perks4Care is different because it is a caregiver-centric program and follows the Caregiver. This means the caregiver can earn points from any company they work for as long as that company is also participating in the program. So, if a caregiver works for more than one company, they do not have multiple rewards programs to manage. And, if they switch companies, they do not lose their points earned. This focus on the Caregiver shows how valuable you are to your company. Simply, it is what is best for the caregiver.

How can I earn points?

How can I earn Badges?

Each company decides what badges to award and how many points to award for each badge. Digital badges are used to show appreciation and reward you for certain behaviors. We all like a little recognition and badges are a great way to make you feel special! You can see some of the available badges on the Badges screen of the app. Color badges have been awarded. Click on one to see the details of that badge. Gray badges have not yet been awarded to the caregiver.

What are the different types of Badges?

There are three types of Badges in the Perks4Care rewards program: Streaks, Milestones, and Awards. A company may choose to award Streaks and Milestone badges. For example, if your company has set up a badge for a work anniversary, the badge will be awarded automatically if you meet all the criteria for the badge. If you work a certain number of weekend days or shifts in a month, you might earn a Streak badge. Each company will decide which of these types of badges to offer and what the criteria are for earning the badge and the points to be awarded.

Badges that are in the Awards category can be awarded at any time at the discretion of the company. For example, if you refer a caregiver (Recruiter Award), attend a training session (Growing in Knowledge), or help out with a tough shift to fill (Save the Day), a company team member may award you a badge.

How do Raffles work?

For every 100 points a caregiver earns, a raffle ticket is issued for a chance to win big! There is no limit on the number of raffle tickets a caregiver can earn in a month. Tickets earned in the current month (eg., January) are good for every raffle held in the following month (eg., February). Raffle tickets are only valid for drawings in one month and then they expire. Check the app for tickets earned this month and last month, then check out the Upcoming Raffles and Past Winners tabs to see possible prizes and lucky past winners. How do I redeem points for Gift Cards?

You can redeem points for Gift Cards directly using the Redeem button on the main screen on the Perks4Care app. Simply click Redeem, scroll through and select your Gift Card, then enter an amount or pick an amount from the pick list just below the gift card. Next, click Proceed to Order to confirm your selection. Review the points to be redeemed and Gift Card selection. If all looks good, click Place Order to complete your redemption. If you wish to cancel, simply click the return arrow at the top left of the screen. After placing the order, check your email for the Gift Card which you can use as soon as you receive it.

Will I lose my points if I stop working for an agency?

No. Once points are awarded, they will stay in your points bank at Perks4Care until you redeem them. Points do not expire. Points have no cash value until redeemed, but they will remain in your bank until you return or continue to earn points with another Perks4Care participating company.

How can I get all of my companies to join Perks4Care?

If you are working for a company that does not participate in Perks4Care, tell them how much you enjoy this benefit and show them the app. The more companies that participate, the more points you have the opportunity to earn!
